 Jorge-Miguel Rodriguez Artist Statement 

In honor of the Miami Marine Stadium Restoration Project, I created a piece that celebrates the architecture and history of this local treasure. A place were the community gathered to have great times and create fond memories. My inspiration for this piece was the thought that many people sat on this stadium chair and had unforgettable days under the Miami sun, while they felt the breeze near the blue water. In my artwork, I wanted to make sure I capture the great spirit and soul of the people, that will forever remain there.
