“Miami Marine Stadium Funding Decimated” The Miami City Commission defers re-authorization of up to $55.2 million in bond financing for the Stadium’s reconstruction, but approves $6 million in bond financing for a Stadium basin boat ramp and mooring field. Commissioners expressed frustration that the administration had not yet presented the Commission-instructed feasibility study for the Stadium’s operations. Link

The Miami CIty Commission voted to defer re-authorization of revenue bonds and to request a feasibility study. $45 million in revenue bonds were originally authorized to restore the Stadium in 2017. This authorization expired in November, 2021. link
